2nd baby was 9.3 - what first size shall I buy?

I'm due my 3rd next month and I'm wondering if I need to order some smaller baby grows. I've currently got 6 0-3 month grows but they look quite big. My first baby (dd) was 8 pounds and my second (ds) was 9.3! I bought him up to one month size and it was nearly too small for him when he was born. This baby is also another boy so I'm thinking he might also be big. So difficult as I don't want to waste money. Any suggestions would be really helpful.

Hard to say... my first daughter was the same weight as your second, was convinced my second daughter was going to be bigger but she was 7lb10 and I hardly had anything to fit. Might be worth getting a cheap bundle off vinted or something then if it doesn't get used you can resell it?

Yes I think I'll get a cheap couple of sleep suits in case he's smaller. Impossible to predict and I really don't want to waste any money.

I’d buy a few new packs of all possible sizes fairly close to your due date, and keep the receipts. It’s easier to return to the shops if you don’t need them than to resell!

I’d stick to 0-3 personally.
A baby in a slightly too big babygro is adorable 🥰

Agree, just go with 0-3 - doesn't matter if they're a bit big, they won't be for long!

Are 0-3 sleepsuits, vests and pramsuit safe if the baby is a bit smaller? I want suits with feet as it will be winter, but baby is consistently measuring as long so am afraid that the smaller sizes won't be long enough. but i also don't want him getting trapped or uncomfortable in oversized suits. We are both pretty tall so I can imagine the baby being long.
