Covid booster

Hiya
Just wondered if anyone had been able to book their covid booster yet? My GP says it isn't to do with them and I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do.
Can it be booked yet or will I be invited? I teach young children in a big primary school and get ill every year so I'm keen to get it done soon!

I think they are jabbing older adults in care homes first but if you haven't found out how to get one in another week or so then try giving your midwife a call?

I used my NHS number to book mine this afternoon.
I could have had the booster tomorrow, but I’ve decided to get it on Friday so I can rest if it makes me feel a bit rubbish over the weekend.
It’s just booked for a local chemist rather than at my GP.

Ahh, thanks! I saw this but got really confused as to whether it was for booking a booster or for people who haven't had a first dose yet. It didn't say the word "booster" anywhere! Thats reassuring that you've booked though!

Good point about feeling ill. I felt ill and had a temperature with my last covid jab. I'm guessing we can take paracetamol to lower temperature if needed.

I've got my Covid and Flu ones on Saturday at my GPS surgery.

Yeah, I read that they started that last week but today I read that it's opening up to other higher risk groups now.:)
