Nausea

When did your pregnancy nausea start and stop? I’ve had terrible nausea since 5 weeks and 3 days, I’m 7 weeks now and it’s still not stopping, it lasts all day everyday. I haven’t vomited (I’m very lucky - taking prochlorperazine which I think is stopping that!) I just want to know when everyone else’s stopped. Is 9 weeks too soon for it to go away? I really just want to see some light at the end of the tunnel and count down haha.

I had nausea from around 5/6 weeks until 17/18 weeks when it suddenly disappeared 🤮

I found sipping on cold water, eating mints & ginger biscuits helped a bit

@Stade197 17/18 weeks! Oh that’s awful. I really hope mine stops sooner, I’m not at work currently… I feel like I can’t function! I can’t wait to get my appetite back 🥺

I’ve been nauseous since 5/6 weeks - currently 13+2 and if anything it just feels it’s getting worse. Feels like the hangover from hell. Can’t wait for relief!

JKDcot · 16/09/2023 20:04

I had the same but mine stopped week 14/15 and didn’t come back. Hold on you’ll be fine xx

7-19.

Mine pretty much didn’t stop until half way through the third trimester. I was being sick too despite medication. Don’t miss that at all! Will all be worth it in the end though 😊

I was nauseous from 5/6 weeks, like you with no sickness but I felt like death. At 8/9 weeks the nausea eased and the actual vomiting started. I'm 15 weeks and still no sign of it easing yet.

I’m almost 9 weeks and mine is still bad. I find I feel worse in the evenings so have started having a main meal at lunchtime instead which means I actually eat something. Sucking on sweets helps as does snacking on dry crackers. I got some travel sickness bands from Amazon, it could be a placebo but I’ve been wearing them for a few days and I think they have helped.

Raysalexandra · 16/09/2023 20:12

@WholeZebra oh bless you that is awful!! I really hope it stops soon for you, I can really sympathise, it’s awful, no one understands do they! Have you spoken to your GP about anti sickness tablets?

@itscurtainsnow yes I got some travel sickness bands off Amazon yesterday and surprisingly feel like they’ve taken the edge off slightly!

From week six till about 22 Blush

Everyone is different, what happened to others won’t make a difference to you I’m afraid. I know it’s common for people to say it stops at 12 weeks so fingers crossed for you, I kept being told that with my first and unfortunately didn’t feel better until week 17 ish.

Yarnle · 17/09/2023 17:20

Week 5 and still going at week 31! Although not as intense as first trimester and can do semi normal things (but not been able to work)! Hope yours eases soon, it’s the pits 😫 x
