I’m 22 + 4 weeks pregnant, I have low lying anterior placenta and only just started to feel my first feeling of movement last week. It has been a popping/bubbling sensation. However, it has been very inconsistent with days where I’ve noticed it more so than others. Is this normal at this stage?

Yes pretty normal, I was told that I wouldn’t notice a pattern of movements until 28 weeks. If you don’t feel the baby move for a while and are unsure then definitely contact your midwife.

Very normal.

Yes absolutely normal. It can take up to 24 weeks to feel any sort of movement and 28 weeks to feel a regular pattern of movements. Baby is still small so it’s normal to not feel baby for a few days at 22 weeks, but if you are ever worried absolutely call midwives
