Hi, I’m 16 weeks pregnant and I have had terrible heart palpitations in and off for hours now has anyone else experienced this? I have no pain it just feels awful. I am also on aspirin for low Papp a Dno if that would cause anything.

It can be caused by anxiety, low blood pressure, anaemia and even dehydration. They’re very common in pregnancy. Have you had your blood results from your booking appointment? Make sure you are drinking plenty.

Low iron can cause this. I had to take iron tablets in all my pregnancies. Speak to your GP.

I had similar palpitations and it turned out that I had Vitamin B12 deficiency. Get your GP to test for the same maybe amongst other deficiencies.

I am 36 weeks and get super bad palpitations any time, for the whole duration I'm pregnant. Nothing wrong with my heart or blood ect ect

Just something that happens 🤷🏻‍♀️ goes away/ reduces heavily when I'm not pregnant
