Hi,
I had a baby 3 years ago. After giving birth I started to get these weird visions- particularly at night. Like I would lay there and see spiders crawling all over the ceiling. I would see hands come through the curtains . One time I even thought I saw a man at my window. I would see things crawling over my baby. At the time I really thought they were real I was so scared. I still see the spiders and other things sometimes but only at night. I’m 35 weeks pregnant now and I’m really worried that after I give birth it will happen again. I didn’t tell anyone last time mainly because it was only happening at night and I taught myself that it wasn’t real what I was seeing and even when I see the things now I no they are not real.

Has anyone ever had this where they have only had it at night? Did it get worse after the second baby?

I would tell at least your doctor and partner about this, just in case you become distressed in the future by the hallucinations, so that you can be supported. Sounds very frightening to me and I certainly wouldn’t want to feel alone going through that.

Sorry just realised you asked for personal experience of this 🤦‍♀️ I’ll shut up sorry.
