I know I will have to do another test but wondering if anyone else had this? I did the test and looked within the first couple of minutes and nothing was appearing I left it to go on a phone call and looked again and I saw this... I think it was within the 10 minutes but yeah very surprised as I'm on the pill!

Possibly an evap if it took that long to appear. You're supposed to read the results within the time frame indicated. Test again tomorrow.

If nothing in first five, I would test again. I had Evaps on three tests a few months back after leaving them and coming back half hour to an hour later. I wasnt pregnant. Recommend pink tests.

Clearblue are appalling for these lines when negative. Use a pink dye test to confirm and read in the time limit, but this looks like the notorious CB evap

ASGIRC · 14/09/2023 14:14

I would say evap, as it isnt the correct width.
CB are notorious for these lines.
Pink dye tests are much more reliable.

Thank you for your comments 🙏 tested this morning and I am not pregnant, definitely an evaporation line... blue clear need to think about recalling this product, so disappointing for women who want to be pregnant

@Confusedmama94 so sorry. They really should be recalled, the amount of posts like this now is ridiculous. I guess it depends if people are complaining about it or not. Frer started getting indents and they discontinued them I’m assuming to sort out whatever the issue is. Clearblue need to do the same. Fingers crossed you get your positive soon.

ASGIRC · 15/09/2023 15:59

The instruction are pretty clear that results should be disregarded if seen after the alloted time frame. Thats how they protect themselves.

You really need to watch the test develop to make sure.

But also, evap lines on CB are really obvious. They are thin. Positive lines are the same width as the control line.

Hi wondering if anyone can help as I am going out my mind.I have had 13 positive pregnancy tests and 5 negative.what are the chances of 13 tests being wrong?but the negative ones are putting doubt in my mind

PickledScrump · 24/01/2024 10:46

@Chase1103 how far along are you and what brand did you use? If all clearblue I wouldn’t trust as they are terrible for evaps. If you used a mix were they all early ones as you may be too early to tell on the standard ones. Other option could be that it was a chemical
