I think I can see a forked nub so I say girl x

Mine looked like that and it was a boy. A very round nub. If you look online, girls nubs are very flat.

I think girl it’s the straight lines no sticky up bits and the rounded skull 💖 I don’t suppose someone can do mine? I have my anomaly scan next week but I’m impatient AF 😅

I've got such a mixed bag of responses - Don't know what to think.. On a popular social media nub group - all responses were boys. and here they are mostly girls. I wonder if most responses are just fun guesses, so was trying to seperate those from those who believe the nub is visible.

Ultrasound yesterday at 13 weeks. Can anyone tell from nub or skull shape what this babe could be. Technician said it's 50/50 she wouldn't guess. We were crossing our fingers for a boy But looking at this I feel it's a girl but I have no idea. I just came across nub theory! Our last pregnancy ended in a missed miscarriage so we're just happy to see a strong heartbeat and healthy baby! But I can't help but be curious!

@Shrillwaffle I'd think girl kinda looks like mine and that's what people guessed for me. Very interested to know what you find out

@JoeyLin I just go by what it says online about nubs. I was pregnant last year (but unfortunately lost my baby at 24 weeks) I was right with hers I saw girl. But with this baby I’m really not 💯. I think both of our babies are pretty 50/50

@Court01 see with yours I’d say girl all the lines you can see are straight and that’s a very round skull. I’d love a girl I really would but I’m not too fussed either way as long as they get here safely 🥰

when do you girls find out? I find out in 3 days 😬😬😬

@Court01 also I think you’re right our babies look pretty similar apart from the nose my baby seems to have a longer nose like me but they are say exactly the same 😅

@Shrillwaffle I am sad to hear of losing a baby at 24 weeks, because I am currently 24 weeks. Your msg has really put things into perspective that I should just be hoping and praying for a healthy baby (which I am of course) and feeling nervous about the sex isn't something that should be my focal point.
Personally I'd love a girl to be a sister to my daughter (and my husband seems very happy too), but with only girls born on my side of the family - there is a growing "oh another girl" chatter going around . On top of that the saying "variety is the spice of life" is just how you are bought up and think one of everything is what you expect in life - and there is that feeling of not ever having a boy.

For me , nub is giving mixed signals - even though expert sites state boy. And the 20 weeks scan said girl, but it wasn't a convining girl to me - no boy bits were found after a bit of shuffling and tugging, but that was the reason given and a 'lean' towards girl. however, that may have been her style of saying it.

We have started telling people it's a girl.

@JoeyLin thankyou that’s really sweet ❤️ all I want is my baby here, but I am still super excited to find out what they are. For me it’ll humanise them more for me if that makes sense? I’m 20 weeks now so the next few weeks are going to be tough, but there’s no
medical or genetical reason why they shouldn’t be okay which it what I keep holding on to. Also I don’t want to scare anyone either I hope you understand.

do you have any other scans coming up? Because maybe you just need another to confirm boy or girl. With my first baby they were 75% girl then I had to go back for another scan and they said yeah that’s a girl
