Is it dangerous to lose your plug so early? Daughters visiting and since yesterday it been coming away. She's felt rough all day (felt sick and light headed) she's 160 miles from home and staying with me for a few days and not sure if she should be letting someone know 😬

I believe you can partially lose your mucus plug and it can regrow. It doesn't necessarily mean labour is imminent.

I would be worried about feeling sick and lightheaded though. She should contact maternity triage at your nearest hospital to be seen.

very normal to lose bits of plug for weeks before labour, it regrows. Might be worth ringing about feeling lightheaded if it’s constant though. It’s been very hot so it could just be dehydration
