Leaking waters 39+3 third DC

Hi everyone I’m new here! Some advice please… I’m 39+3 with DC3 , I’ve been leaking waters since last Tuesday evening, went to maternity triage on Wednesday and Saturday had two negative actim PROM tests so thought it must just be discharge but woke up this morning with another significant leak/warm gush so I went again and it was positive. That was at 7am this morning and I’ve not really had anything in my pad since. Have also been losing mucus plug all week too.

They’ve said to come back tomorrow at 7am to discuss induction if I haven’t started naturally by then. No contractions so far 😫

can anyone relate to the slow trickle and if they started with regular contractions once they got it confirmed it was their waters ? It seems so intermittent.

slightly worried that I actually think they went on Tuesday evening and the other tests didn’t pick it up but the MW said let’s start from this mornings result!

I did with my first, my hind waters went so was just a slow trickle. My contractions didn’t start though and I ended up with an induction. Also ended up with an infection which I believe was from being left after waters have gone so personally I’d be pushing to be taken in if you think they’ve been going since Tuesday

My waters broke with ds at 6am. I went triage and they induced me at 10am. Had son by 2:05pm the same day. This was back in 2021.

I would go for induction as waters breaking could lead to infection
