Clear blue weeks test digital

Hi guys, I’m about 6wks3 today, I would have ovulated over 3 weeks ago now, about 3 weeks and 3 days ago. I have a long cycle and don’t ovulate until day 20/21 so my lmp was over 6 weeks ago!
Anyway- the clear blue weeks date digital test have been right each week so far, 1-2 weeks then 2-3 weeks and yesterday I tested and it still said 2-3, I did it again today and it said 2-3 again! I’m concerned that’s not gone up.
I have a private viability scan next Sunday so it’s a week wait but has anyone had this happen and be ok?
the easy at home lines I’ve been using daily are still very dark and strong but I have had some spotting maybe every second or third day which I heard is normal.
Even reading this all together now I feel like I am probably miscarrying.
Just looking for anyone who has had similar?

You can’t trust those clear blue digital tests. Some people never get 3 weeks+! I stopped taking after the second one because I saw so many people being anxious like you are. They just aren’t very accurate. There are loads of posts about them if you search.

As for the spotting… that could also be totally normal but you could speak to your GP. In week 5, I had spotting and cramping and so my GP sent me to the urgent care centre who then referred me to the early pregnancy unit. I had a scan at 5weeks+4 and another at 7weeks+4 with them (which meant I got to cancel my private scan which saved me money.) Anyway everything was fine and they said more than 25% of women experience spotting so it’s really common.

So maybe call your GP tomorrow morning and see what they say about the spotting?

Thank you so much for this.
I will reach out to my gp tomorrow. I have my first midwife apt on Thursday but I know that’s just the initial medical history and stuff appointment!
its so hard not to worry, even though I fully know pregnancy loss is very common too!
thanks again x

I really don’t think you can base everything on the weeks indicator tests. I have heard of lots of people never getting beyond 2-3 and their pregnancies have been successful.

Those tests should be taken as novelty items not medical tests. They’re very inaccurate, some people never get 3+ but have perfectly healthy pregnancies. No reason to assume it’s a miscarriage
