How reliable are hcg tests on day of expected period

Just wondering how reliable the result of a home pregnancy test is on the first or second day of missed period?

Well the boxes state well over 95% from day of missed period so very accurate

For a healthy pregnancy the stastistics shows a hcg level over 100 has the highest chance of resulting in a healthy baby and the average pregnancy test has a level of 15

Are these negative results?

They are very reliable by that point, unfortunately your test is negative

I’m not sure how to start a new post but this is similar, does anyone know if my tests are positive or evap lines?? Been three and a bit weeks since I last had sex not TTC so panicking.

@Ggil97 clearblue are terrible for those. The strip ones look negative. You would expect clear positives by now if pregnant
