Hi everyone!

I've just found out I'm four weeks' pregnant with my first.

Obviously I'm aware it's still very early days...but what would be your best advice?

I have my first midwife booking in appointment in early October, but I'm feeling a bit clueless as I don't know much about pregnancy at all which is embarrassing at 35!

What books/websites/social media accounts do you recommend? Any advice for the first trimester?

Thank you!

Get some vitamins and folic acid if you can stomach them! I’ve been taking the pregnacare ones the whole way through

thebabyacademyuk on Instagram is good for little tips, they do free online classes too. I did a baby care one which covered the basics like bathing and dressing right for the temperature

@FirstMondayInMay Thank you!

This is most definitely probably TMI too...but do you know if having light cramps after sex is normal in early pregnancy?Blush

Take folic acid.

Do not take normal multivitamins, they have to be pregnancy ones, as you shouldn’t have too much Vitamin A in pregnancy.

Other than that there’s not much to do at this stage… it’s just a long boring wait until 12 week scan.
