Have you looked at the likes of Center Parcs or would you prefer abroad?

charlotte121 · 03/03/2008 13:48

I did look at the prices for centre parcs but its so expencive. Not sure how safe it would be taking a baby that is so young abroad. Thats kinda my dilemma, had ds last year so didnt get a holiday and dd is due june 1st so wont b able to go abroad again... i dont mind staying in the uk and having a break but the only things in my budget are haven caravans and i dnt think i would find that much of a break being in such a confined space with 2 children so small. i know i sound really pickey but its quite a lot of money for me to spend so i feel i should do it wisely.

charlotte121 - Set yourself up as a member on travelzoo.com (it's a free service), then every week they send you their pick of the top 20 internet hols available. Some won't be suitable with children but there is nearly always special offers on nice hotels in Britain, cheap package hols etc. I have friends that have used the service regularly and have never been disappointed with accommodation/travel arrangements etc, if nothing else it will give you some ideas.

Example this weeks there was a:

£99 Short break on the Isle of White including ferry at Luccombe Hall Country House Hotel & a

£299 All inclusive break in Rhodes

thanks merry, I have done that.
Been chatting to a few other friends about it and were thinking of all going away together which will be nice as none of them have kids and are excited about the prospect of being able to play mummy for a bit which will give me a chance to have a nice rest. still havnt a clue where were going to go but should hopefully be good fun!
