I am wearing braces!

I got them for £5 in the mens dept in TJHughes. I am wearing my normal jeans with a bit of elastic through the button hole and a long top over the braces!

I've took DS1 to school, and not hitched my jeans up once.

Hehe awesome!

My normal trousers are too tight even with bump band and maternity trousers spend more time around my ankles than anywhere else

I'm going to dig out an old pair and have a go! Am constantly pulling them up!

Update - managed to go for a wee without too much faff!

i wore braces when i was pregnant with DS as no trousers stayed up! DH laughed

That's such a good idea!
My trousers are sliping down all the time and I'm constantly having to hitch them up, so annoying!

There is a product called 'belly-ups' which are a brace that goes from your bra to the top of your trousers specifically for this you know.

Here.

tallbirduk · 03/03/2008 15:27

damn those belly-ups are a good idea, crazy, but ingenious all at the same time.

isaidno · 03/03/2008 16:09

cantsleepwontsleep - those look more mad than the men's braces I'm wearing! They might be better if you have big boobies though!

Comfort update - I have not hitched my trousers up once today!
