Pregnancy tests are designed to tell you pregnant or not pregnant not how things are going. When looking at tests getting darker you should use the same brand of tests, also remember the amount of dye in each test and how diluted your urine is can make a massive difference to the results. All these tests tell you is that you are pregnant.

You really need to be using the same test at the same time of day to monitor line progression. Different test brands will have different line intensities, even if they officially detect the same levels. I found the easy@home strips to be the best. But don't keep on using them beyond around 5-6 weeks as once your hcg levels are really high, you can get what's called the hook effect and the line can get paler.
