FTM - offensive?

I’ve only just discovered the phrase “full time mother” from this site. Is it not incredibly offensive? Just because someone chooses or has no choice but to work, does not make them less of a mother. A “part time” mother! I’m really shocked this is used. Views on a move to ban like other dated / sexist language?

It means first-time mum.

FTM in a pregnancy context usually means first time mother.

FTM - first time Mum. You’re thinking of a sahp - stay at home parent, which now I think about it isn’t very accurate.

Omg thank you!!! I totally misread when I googled the acronym. That makes me feel so much better!
