MC - unsure which method to choose

Looking for experiences really. Pretty sure I am having a MC at 6 weeks however what started as cramps and brown loss has slowed considerably over last few days. No cramps anymore and loss has got much less but has turned to red - not bright red but not dark either, somewhere in-between. I had a scan last Thursday night that showed a heartbeat, but pain and bleeding began 2 days after that. I have another scan this Thursday which I expect will show a MC and they said if things hadn't ramped up by then they could offer me medical or surgical management to begin immediately. I am trying to weigh up the options and risk. Bit concerned about surgical risks of bleeding (I had huge haemorrhage after birth of DC) and Sherman's. Equally would like to get this over and done with ASAP to move on and hopefully try again in a few weeks!

Sorry I’m no help with the method but I just wanted to send hugs 💖 I’ve also had some bleeding and have a scan tomorrow to check what’s going off. I should be 6 weeks + 3 today. Hoping it’s a good outcome for you x

Hopefully you’ll get good news on Thursday.
If not, it depends on how keen you are for the physical side to be over. I had both medical and surgical management for my miscarriage and I hated the waiting with medical management, not knowing if and when it was going to work. I was relieved to have surgical management as it felt like I could move forwards. We waited a cycle and conceived then and had a straightforward pregnancy. I think the chance of complications like Asherman’s is low and I had minimal bleeding after the surgery.
Hoping for a good outcome for you

Thanks both and good luck @katie416. things have progressed for me today naturally so I may not need anything on Thursday. Hope your outcome is better xx
