Ok so I had a mc on the 24th August at 6 weeks. Had unprotected sex on the 26th and 27th and a few more times since. On the 31st August my pregnancy test showed no line at all but now the 4th Sep I have a faint positive it's stronger than one I took whilst I was miscarrying. Would it be possible for me to be pregnant so quick. Will post pics of tests with dates taken.

I think theoretically you can ovulate and become pregnant within 2 weeks of a miscarriage so it could be possible.

If it was me I would do 2 things, speak to your GP so they can give you a blood test a few days a part to check your HCG levels and also do another pregnancy test in 2 days time and see if it has gotten darker.

Hi @Clewx
Looks like a positive hun xx

I'm just unsure if it is actually possible to happen so quick? I will test again in a few days and see how things look. Thank you 😊

@Clewx I’m no doctor, but I think it’s worth a GP appointment and bloods too to check 🤷‍♀️
i suppose it depends how long you were miscarrying for too. I miscarried on the 24th July and bled until 28th July; then ovulated on the 5th august and got pregnant (now 6 weeks as we speak!) so it can definitely happen fast!

It's very unlikely you ovulated a couple of days after a miscarriage. It's more likely this is left over HCG. It can hang around for weeks. I say test again in a couple of days.

This is where I'm confused too my last period started on 12th July. I bled for two days on the 6th August so assumed that was a period and didn't think I could be pregnant until I tested on the 20th August and had a strong positive and was 2-3 on a digital meaning the bleeding on the 6th couldn't have been a period? I then started bleeding again on the 22nd August which then resulted in a miscarriage which passed on the 24th. Just all a bit confusing but I'll test again and if gets any darker will call my GP to discuss.

Just strange that 31st August there was almost no line and now it's getting darker again.

I would normally say this is a new pregnancy but if you mc at 6 weeks on the 24th August, I'm not sure that it's possible for you to ovulate, fertilise and have a high enough HCG for it to show on a test.

I would give your GP a call and look into booking a series of HCG Blood Tests to see what is going on.

From 3 different batches of tests this afternoon

I think the fact that you are getting positives indicates that something is going on. I would highly suggest contacting your GP and getting bloods done.
