Positive test at 10 DPO, now 15 DPO and test isn’t getting darker

Got my positive digital test at 10 DPO, now 15 DPO and took another test and the line isn’t getting darker. It’s as dark as the test the day before so isn’t getting any lighter, just not getting darker. Should I be concerned?
I’ve for sore boobs, been feeling nauseous the past couple of days and I’m extremely tired. Any one experienced anything like this before??

aslong as the test is still positive i don't think you should be that concerned xx

So it is darker than the 10DPO test? Just not any darker than the 14DPO?

HCG increases by 50% every 48 hours so I wouldn't expect it to get darker within one day

@Berrylady I didn’t start getting my dark lines until I’d fully missed my period, so DPO21- mine stayed the same for ages and then I started to notice a massive difference a week or so after

Berrylady · 04/09/2023 08:37

Thank you! That’s really reassuring. Still getting positive digital tests

Can I ask how things are going ? I am in the same situation, just not sure how long is ok for the line to not get darker ? Had hcg bloods taken today but don’t get results until Monday

It can take a few days for it to get alot darker and also dependa on the brand you are using. Some are better then others for teat progression. I’ll attach mine… FYI I am crazy and a POAS addict!

Tests aren't meant to be used quantitatively. They depend on how long you've held, hydration levels etc. They're only good as a yes/no. They're also susceptible to the hook effect, where starts getting lighter as hcg gets higher. I had this when I was asked by EPU to test before coming in at 7 weeks. It was way fainter and increased my panic until mumsnet told me and I diluted my wee about 50 fold and got a dye stealer!

Hi, unfortunately it didn’t end well for me, and I started bleeding a couple of days after this post and had a chemical pregnancy. I just knew in my gut that it wasn’t going to end well. I have everything crossed for you x
