Positive pregnancy test followed by 2 negative

Been trying to conceive for nearly 2 years. I am due on my period. I randomly did a momed pregnancy test this afternoon and a light line appeared that got darker and darker so had 2 lines..see picture. Then half hour later decided to do 2 again same time and couldn't really see much of a line..they have lines now more time has passed. now I am confused. Could this be a false positive? Or is it because I've been drinking quite a bit of water and kept needing a wee so it's faint? I will test again in morning but really don't want false hope. I am 13 DPO. I have bad lower back pain but normally get when due on and sore boobs so really hard to tell

It's very likely that your urine was much more dilute for the second and third test. Hold off and test again in the morning with FMU, and fingers crossed for you.

That positive is solid bfp so yes I'd agree your urine was too diluted if only half an hour passes and you've drank loads too... Take another fmu and good luck x

That first test is such a good positive that I reckon the negatives are wrong. Possibly because your urine was too diluted. Test again tomorrow with FMU xx

You urinated on a 30 minute hold for the second two tests, you need a 4 hour hold ideally, minimum 2 hours (if youre drinking a fair amount of fluids).

They're false negatives because your urine was too dilute.

Try again with fmu

Hi I have had the same problems today. Not due on yet just done a random test and got such a clear test then little while later have tested more throughout the day and negative! Picture below shows my positive

Has anyone else had this before where your testing positive but it’s really faint, was told at the doctors this morning my test was negative… she gave me one of her tests home ( the big white one ) which is clearly positive. Has anyone ever experienced this before and not been pregnant ? It’s so hard trying to stay calm about it!
