Is it ridiculous to feel kicks at less than 15wks?

I am 15wks on monday and I am sure that today I have felt 4 massive kicks on my right hand side. I am not talking 'flutterings' that I have remembered from my last two preg at the start, but massive, stop you in your tracks kicks.

Is that ridiculous or has anyone else had this?

In my last my placenta was anterior and I didnt feel anything until about 20wks. This seems odd.

No not ridiculous at all

With DD I felt two hard kicks at 15 wks

With DS I felt him moving at around 13 wks

Nobody believed me but I know what it was. Are you quite thin? Apparently it makes it easier to feel earlier.

no I def felt kicks with 3rd & 4th preg really early, I think it's the very slack tummy muscles................

With ds2 I felt movements at 12 weeks, although they were just mild flutters. He never kicked hard though. Maybe you have a very active baby in there!

phew! Was worried I was imagining it!

sherby- unfortunatly not very thin. Not massive but I already have a rather large 'bump' At least I can blame it on being pregnant now!

twice the kicks were when I was carrying my dd2 so may have been squashed!

Yes I felt very definite kicks at 15 weeks, even my husband felt them. I persumed I was prob further along but mw said it can happen espeacially if the baby is lying more forward and the placenta is behind the baby

I have a naturally very thin waist (everything else is not so thin but between pregnancies it's about 26 inches). I felt this baby move at 11 weeks and DD moved at 15 weeks. The midwife said I was imagining it until she actually felt movement herself at 16 weeks through the skin!

My babies are active little buggers though!

Not at all. I've felt this one very early. Flutters at 11 and kicks at 13 weeks.

Thanks all. TBH I thought I had been feeling kicks for a while but just put it down to wind!
