Which is the nub?

Hi everyone. I’ve just had a 12 week scan and can’t wait to find out the gender! Can anyone tell which is the nub on the scan image? I didn’t know if the obvious ‘nub’ was too close to the belly button to be it. What are your thoughts, boy or girl?? Thank you 😊

Can you see two sticky outy bits to the far left? That’s the nub! I’d guess you’re having a little boy x

This is a tricky one but I am swaying more towards a boy 😊

What you’re seeing is probably the cord, the nub is further down. I’d say girl as the nub is straight

I say girl. Not the top lines but next ones down. I think based on what one of our doctors at work told me about my scan

On second look I think others might be right as the bladder seems to sit underneath that bottom line. Update when you find out!

I really want to try find the gender out of my second baby but I have no idea what the nub is or if it’s even in any of these scan pictures. Can somebody please help.

Hi, I really struggle as well to tell from the scan picture. Most people who have replied to my post have said they think a girl and I think maybe I can see why they are saying girl now actually. But I struggle to see on your picture… hopefully someone can reply and give you some idea!

If you’re super excited to find out I think you can do a blood test where you get the kit online, or you can book a private gender scan from 16ish weeks, that’s what we did recently and it was lovely :)

Yes we did the blood test with our first because we just couldn’t wait but we’ve decided to wait this time and save the money. I’m booked in for an 18 week scan and they will tell me the gender then so only 5-6 more weeks to wait. At 12 week scan the sonographer said she thinks possibly a boy but couldn’t really tell. But now I think from the ultrasound pic it’s another girl!
