Heaving bleeding.. but increasing HCG?

Hi all, I was wondering if anyone had experienced heavy bleeding in the early days of their pregnancy to go on and have a successful pregnancy? A few days after I found out I was pregnant I had three days of bleeding. It started as light spotting, and then it was heavier with blood clots - kind of what a lighter period would be for me. My doctor took a blood test to check my HCG levels and they were low - 58. She took another blood test a two days later to confirm a miscarriage, as she suspected, and my HCG level was 112. My doctor is perplexed and is having me come in for another blood test tomorrow. I am so anxious, and I have so many questions.

I don’t have any success story but I’m in a similar situation also.
I found out on 19th of this month I was pregnant 4 days before my last period, then late Saturday there ( 3 days after period was due) I started spotting, I spotted dark brown mostly for 3 and half days, it stopped yesterday and hasn’t returned. I panicked as it was everytime I wiped.
Anyways the EPU did my bloods yesterday and the results were 150 hcg which puts me she about 3-4 weeks but going from my missed period I should of been 5 weeks yesterday, so they did say it a bit low for the stage im meant to be at.
they are repeating them tomorrow and now I just have to hope and wait I guess.

how have you been? Have you had any more bloods? Hope your ok, it’s very stressful x

I went through the same - every time I wiped there was blood. I just had my third blood test and it increased to 719! It is a good trend my doctor said. She wants to do one more test tomorrow to make sure it is doubling then she wants to do an ultrasound late next week or the week after. I'm hoping that your HCG will keep increasing too!

I feel less stressed knowing that I am still pregnant, but my doctor is confused as to why I had bleeding.. Such a rollercoaster of emotions!

Not my experience, but I had a work colleague (I was her manager) who this happened to. Heavy bleeding early in first pregnancy, she thought she was miscarrying. Went to hospital, same experience with hormone levels. Bleeding stopped after a few days and she carried to term. Had a girl. Then exactly the same happened in her second pregnancy. Her daughter and son are now 13 and 11.
