Welcome to the ttc club! Honestly I try my best to forget about the fact I'm in the 2ww, pretend it doesn't exist! I was ttc for 2.5 years with my ex so if I'd stayed focused on it I'd have lost half of each month for a really long time! Try not to test until your period is due because honestly there's no need, it can cause upset/stress/what ifs. Testing early won't change if you're pregnant or not. Just stay active, make sure you're taking your folic acid or preconception vitamins and eat/drink healthily. Best of luck to you!x

Hello! I'm 37 and pregnant, but I really recommend heading to the conception board. There's a wonderful thread of women 35+ who are super supportive and can help you navigate the TWW 😊

I found the month I fell pregnant I had no symptoms except for a bubbly tummy - but fingers crossed for you! ❤️

Wishing you all the best @Bex4567 it really can be so hard. I’m 37 in Nov and expecting my 2nd in October. Controversially, I do recommend testing early as that is how I found out that I was failing to implant due to low progesterone after losses at 6&7 weeks. I was put on progesterone and aspirin alongside vitamin D which worked. I’d take vitamin D and Zita West supplements - DHA and COQ10 for egg quality. Good luck 🤞🏼

Hello. We started trying for my first at 38 and i took 8 months and it's so hard and such a long wait too!

At 6 months I went to the GP for tests - they can do some non invasive tests to check ovulation and scan for blockages.

Track your fertile windows - although not romantic is does help.

Lastly and who knows is this works but my partner read somewhere tomatoes increase sperm mobility!

Pennyroses · 15/10/2023 17:47

I'm 37 and 13 weeks pregnant. Took 7 months to conceive, I know it feels like forever the wait but actually looking back now I realise it actually wasn't that long. Try to relax and just trust it'll happen in it's own time and I'm sure it will soon! x

Bex4567 · 15/10/2023 19:47

You're not too old! My youngest is 13 too. It does feel like starting again but it's nice, it's my partner's first baby so it's all exciting again! Good luck with it all x

Keep positive, I'm on CD10 I think, due to ovulate around Saturday. 26 day cycle so will test between Christmas and NY.

It's hard cause it consumes your thoughts and the googling! OMG the googling! 🤣

How old are you? I'm 39 so getting on a bit! x
