Thrush in pregnancy

I'm currently around 7 weeks pregnant, I believe I began to have signs of thrush since last Monday.

I spoke to a doctor on Thursday, who gave me canesten pessarie and cream. I used the pessarie on Thursday night and the internal discharge seems to have cleared however the outside of the vagina is so so itchy and so so sore now. I actually think the cream is enhancing the pain so I've stopped using it now.

Does anyone have any tips? It's keeping me awake at night and I'm just so uncomfortable all the time. I'm trying to wear loose clothing and no underwear at nighttime etc but nothing seems to ease the discomfort

Hi,

I am 31 weeks and I’m having the same issue, but I’m allergic to canestan products. Do you mind me asking what you used in the end? Did the doctor prescribe you anything else? I’m at my wits end and haven’t slept in about 5 nights 😭

They prescribed canesten, you're probably going to have to contact the doctor to see what else they can prescribe you
