Bleeding at 6 weeks 3 days

Hi guys, so when I was around 4 weeks pregnant I was bleeding everyday bright red blood so I went EPU had a scan they saw the yolk sac but told me to come back in 2 weeks the bleeding then stopped for 3 days then came back I’ve been bleeding for 11 days now. When I went back 3 days ago they saw the baby said it’s grown how it should I saw the heartbeat said there’s no blood around the baby everything is fine not too worry unless I get pain and heavy bleeding then go to a and e. I was still bleeding however today the bleeding has gotten heavy still only can see it when I wipe it’s not going in my clothes and I don’t have any pain. However the other days I’ve been bleeding it’s stopped after a hour or 2 but today it’s not stopped and it’s worrying me :( I rang EPU they said not to worry still and a doctor will call me tomorrow. Just wondering did anyone have anything like this? Should I be worried? There was also a really small dark red blood clot early like it was tiny but it’s still making me really worried :(

Hi, I wanted to reply as I know exactly how.yoi feel. I'm m at the same stage as you and I've also had bleeding - it is so worrying, constantly checking when going to the loo. I had bright red bleeding overnight one night last week - quite heavy with small clots. It was about 8 hours after my 6 week scan (well 5+6)..I think the scan aggravated my cervix and caused the bleed. I had another scan the next day - all fine - we saw heart beat and the doctor said bleeding has stopped, but I've still been getting some remnants of older blood when I wipe. I think it's all ok but I've booked a private scan on Friday (7 weeks). (These first 2 scans were at the clinic - mine is an IVF pregnancy). I think it's a good sign that you don't have any pain. I had similar with my first child several years ago. The EPU gave me one scan, and I had another bleed a week later, and they wouldn't scan me again. With hindsight I should have insisted so push for a scan as I think this is the only thing that reassures in these situations. Wishing you all the best and a positive outcome x

Yep had this since implantation - not 15 + 3 and still happening . Sometimes like your picture and sometimes lighter. Never lasts longer then a few wipes and it's a few times per week.

3 scans and all good so far but it sends me anxious every single time!

no causes found either. Just keep being told some woman spot and lots of woman have shared this with me also .

you have my sympathy as it's so stressful x
