Hi, i am 21wk pregnant and attended maternity assesment few days ago as i had very light watery pink blood when wiping after a wee. Baby is fine and they did a physical examination (couldnt see any blood) but did comment that i had green/yellow discharge inside so she did swabs which i am still waiting on results from.
She likely thought it was Bv or thrush and the blood was from irritation on my cervix. She sent me away with metronidazole as she likely thought it was bv.
Today ive had some thick white discharge could i have both or maybe misdiagnosed with bv? Obviously i am waiting on results but just worrying about taking medication i may not need and harming my baby. I did start the tablets as i was worried about how long i could have had this conditon untreated as no other symptoms really
