Lindo wing consultants

Hi everyone, I would love some suggestions on consultants available at Lindo Wing (although flexible with hospital) who have experience with hypothyroidism. I may also require a c-section and would love someone who is easily reachable (not an assistant all the time) and has good bedside manner.

I don't know about hypothyroidism, but I had Bryony Jones who has a lovely bedside manner - super calm, friendly and comforting.

Thank you! Was she reachable? I've heard some consultants are not easily available and you still have to go through the hospital to speak to them outside of an appointment.

Also did you have a c section?

I didn't have a c section, no. I never really needed to contact her between appointments but if I had needed to, it would have been via the hospital or her secretary (I didn't have her personal number). I don't know if any other consultants do that differently?

Not had a private consultant for obstetrics but for other specialists you go through their secretary/pa as they are managing many patients

I had a c section and about to have a second one soon with Tariq Miskry.
He is absolutely amazing and really puts You at ease.
It’s my second high risk pregnancy with pre existing hypertension on top of extreme tokophobia and I cannot praise him enough!

You're not going to find a consultant who is happy to be contacted 24/7 by all their patients directly I don't think (what an awful job that would be!)
