Iron??

Hi, so when I had a blood test at 9weeks my iron level was 114 which they said wS fine but lately (I'm now nearly 18weeks) I keep feeling light headed, dizzy etc but i won't have another blood test until 28weeks, is it worth me asking for another blood test soon? I've got 3 other children and by 28weeks with all of them I'm low in iron and need tablets. Will they give me a blood test sooner?

I'd just call your midwife and explain your symptoms and see if they are able to request bloods for you, if that doesn't work then try your gp

Yes definitely ask for another blood test. I took an iron supplement with my last pregnancy and this one. Also, when i was in a really bad way i juiced raw peeled beetroot and carrot in the morning which made so much difference! xx
