Sorry for picture but I am 6 weeks 1d and have been experiencing this for 4 days now. Has anyone had anything similar and turned out to be ok? Panicking it’s the start of MC, however no cramps or pain

I'm currently having that on and off, I'm 5W +3d. Watching to see the responses

Hi, I had a mix of brown and red discharge at 6 weeks, and then again at 10 weeks which carried on until 16 weeks!

In my case it was deemed to be a small sack of blood (like a bruise) in my uterus. It was very scary (especially considering I had just gone through an MC where I had no bleeding at all!) but is actually quite common in pregnancy.

My advice would be to monitor and book a scan (local EPU might see you or a private place) to ease your mind if you would like.

Best of luck to you xx

I should probably add that everything was fine and I now have a bouncing 7 month old!

Hiya

@Hugo123455 I'm 7+5 and I'm currently experiencing this. Started a couple of days ago and was a bit pinkish but now it's more brown. It's only when I wipe so hopefully it isn't the start of a MC.

I did have a scan at 6 weeks and there was a heartbeat but I can't help but think the worst as my last 2 pregnancies have ended in MC. I'm not in any pain, just a little bit crampy as though period is about to arrive but I've had that since the beginning 😩

@Hugo123455 I had a scan yesterday all was OK, I was put on progesterone for the spotting. How are you?

Hugo123455 · 30/08/2023 21:47

@roro87 I took myself for a private scan last Friday and there was a lil bean with a heartbeat. Got another scan on Friday with NHS due to prev ectopic. Still spotting daily will be sure to mention it, did your doc prescribe the progestorne? Xx

The epu recommended it as they said there are no negative effects. I told them how long I've been trying all I've gone through and she was like let's do this. I was really happy they were proactive. No spotting since but they couldn't identify why I was. I had a lot Sunday night so I was really worried
