Hi! 28 weeks pregnant. Still suffering with HG. No vomiting but all day nausea. Anyone else in the same boat? Feel like I’m the only one to hit the third trimester and still feel like rubbish with such a long way to go. Please tell me this will all go away once baby is born, it would be nice to enjoy life again 😭😭

Have you spoke to GP about anti nausea tablets at all? I have some at present and it really helps. Also anti sickness bands if you haven’t already tried them.

@snoopy18 i am taking ondansetron 3 x a day, omeprazole and vitamin B6. Don’t think anything is really touching the nausea tbh it’s hell on earth and I can’t wait for this to be over so I can have my life back again 😅 did try the anti sickness bands in the first trimester and they did nothing. Appreciate the suggestions though!

Oh no 🤦🏾‍♀️ it’s really hard isn’t it trying to daily things when feeling like this. I hope it settles for you OP. Hope mine does too soon.

@snoopy18 it’s so so hard. Sorry you are going through this hell too. I really hope it does settle for you soon! How far along are you?

Poor you, it is so awful. I had it with both pregnancies although only in the first trimester. That was bad enough so I cannot imagine how you are coping. I contacted Pregnancy Sickness Support and just found being able to take about it to someone who understood really helpful. They offered a chat service and it made me feel a little less alone. Try to hold onto the fact that it will end. Pregnancy is not enjoyable for me and I remember feeling so relieved the day my daughter was born because I didn't have to be pregnant anymore (and obviously had a gorgeous little baby 😅)

I am the exact same, I am 31 weeks and still the same. On ondansetron and prochlorperazine. They don't help, I still have nausea constantly. Feel like I have no life at the moment, terrified I will never feel normal again. No tablets help. Everyday is a struggle. Sending sympathy to you.

I’ve just gone into my 12th week. It’s been more manageable last few days but still having days where it’s pretty bad. Also started getting bad headaches so need to speak to the doc about that hopefully today. You just can’t plan anything as you don’t know how you’ll be feeling and feel sluggish.

Yarnle · 23/08/2023 09:04

@HappierTimesAhead the least enjoyable experience of my life this! I am in touch with PSS who are wonderful! Glad to hear there is an end :)

@foldingtowels sorry to hear you are still struggling too. It’s nice to know I’m not alone as it feels like I am most the time! I am feeling all the feelings you describe. I mean it’s definitely not as bad as the first trimester but it’s still there and stops me doing normal things and going about my day. You are on the home stretch! It feels like no end doesn’t it but praying that when the placenta is out we can have our lives back. I really miss being me 😣

@snoopy18 glad you are having some good days! I started to have some more manageable days after the 12 week mark although thinking back I still was not functional, I thought I’d be okay going back to work but that was a mistake! I totally relate to the can’t plan anything, zero energy or motivation to do anything, yet so bored confined to the same 4 walls. You feel like a different person. Well the odds are in your favour of it improving further and hoping it does for you. Think myself and @foldingtowels must be in the few unlucky numbers that are stuck with it till birth.
I have been having intermittent headaches.. think mine were a mix of my medication and probably not enough liquids oh and probably the pesky hormones too.. hope the GP a helpful in sorting them for you!
