Medicated FET - when to stop estrogen and progesterone after positive pregnancy test?

Hi there, I’m wondering at how many weeks gestation those who have gone through a medicated FET were advised to stop Progynova and progesterone. I was advised 8 weeks which seems too soon for progesterone but I’m unsure on estrogen. I’d appreciate any support. Thank you!

You wont get any definitive answers, as protocols differs wildly between doctors and clinics.
Im on 1200mg of progesterone a day, until 12 weeks.
Other people are on 300mg a day until 9 weeks.
It is not an exact science, and also there isnt a lot of evidence that the progesterone helps, if you produce enough on your own.
So follow your clinics protocol.

My doctor suggested finishing progesterone (I was on 600mg daily) at 13 weeks 6 days. But I assume each protocol is individual so would be better to follow your doctor's advice. Good luck!

I was told to wean myself off them starting on week 12. So I was effectively finished by week 13.

I was told to stop oestrogen at 12 weeks, and progesterone at 12/14 weeks to taper down to none at 16 weeks. I don’t know if it makes any difference, but I was pregnant with twins.

For me it was come off oestrogen at week ten and progesterone at week twelve. Everyone is different though. I wouldn't listen to MN over my dr. Xx

I was told week 10. I was initially reluctant to come off them straight away, and planned to ask for more to ‘taper off’. But in the end I felt ready at 10 weeks - SO bloated and uncomfortable with indigestion.

Thank you all. My clinic have a blanket 8 weeks for both for all without checking levels which is why I’m reluctant to stop at 8.

My clinic stop progesterone the day you get a positive (fresh transfer though) wild how clinic protocols are all so different! I was nervous but seems to be okay so far.

I was supposed to stop at 12 weeks but I had some leftover so gradually tapered for 2 more weeks.
