Light bleed at 19 weeks, should I panic??

I had a bit of bleeding in the early days but nothing since. It was the same for my first pregnancy but I didn't have any bleeding in the later stages at all. Should I call the midwife or am I being daft?

I spent my entire first pregnancy convinced something would go wrong but nothing did, so this time I've been determined to try enjoy things and not panic.

I've got my 20 week scan on Monday so should I just wait until then?

Am kicking myself for worrying when I'm sure everything is fine but just can't help it - I blame the hormones...

Hi, I'm sure you will be absolutely fine, but maybe a call to the gp or mw for a bit of reassurance, rather than wait til monday, as you willl only worry all weekend, and then you will be able to relax, rather than have it in the back of your mind. Good luck, and sure all will be well.

Had bleeding in all 3 of my pg's and one was from 23 weeks til birth and all was well in the end x

Don't panic, but get it checked asap.
I had a bleed at 16w with dd1, all was fine. I had a similar bleed at 16w with db2 which didn't turn out well.
3rd pg no bleed at all.

Go to the epu, put your mind at ease

don't wait until monday, phone midwife today. bleeding during pregnancy should always be checked out immediately.

Thanks everyone, called hosp and going down to maternity unit. Hopefully everything will be ok but you're all right, I should get it checked.

my sister had bleeding with 2 of pregnancy's and it was nothing, but it was better that she had it checked as it put her mind at rest.

Let is know how you get on!

glad you have gone to get check up, fingers crossed, and let us all know how it went x

Sorry not to post before but everything now fine thank goodness. They couldn't see any reason for bleeding and wanted to keep me in for 24 hours monitoring. However am still breastfeeding my 18 month old (and have never spent a night apart from him!) so I promised to have bed rest at home and luckily the bleeding stopped.

Had my 20 week scan on Monday and all seems normal, hurrah!! Thanks for your advice and support xx
