Hi All

I’m thinking ahead but can’t find any answers online. I have just had my first baby after being refered to a fertility specialist and becoming pregnant from being prescribed clomid.

I am thinking about baby 2 and was wondering if there was a time limit like there is for IVF and having to wait for a year becoming being helped? The waiting times were quite long beforehand which would mean if I wanted to start trying for baby number 2 I’d need to start the process earlier but wondered if the GP wouldn’t refer me?

Would the NHS even help with prescribing clomid (I took 3 cycles) if I already have a child.

if anyone’s been through this I’d be grateful for any info x

2nd time round I still had to try for 12 months before I got a referral.

Although they've since brought that down to 6 months if over 35.

I was 36 starting tttc, 37 on clinic snd 38 when pregnant.

They wont prescribe if menopausal.

You could go private if you want to speed up.
