Has anyones first ever actually come early?

I've been having painful braxton hicks now for the past 2 days, throwing up since last sat and generally feeling 'dodgy' and woke this morning with backache. Thought I saw the tiniest bit of brown mucus this morning but not 100% sure (think it may be the pregnancy brain over reacting).

Anyone had similar things? (Please please please say yes and that you went to full term )

how early is early?ofcourse first dc can come early.do you have on call midewife who could put your mind at rest?

Im 33 weeks [grim face]

My midwife I have only seen once as my old one left (and I only saw her twice!)

Its probably just me being paranoid (only as I'm sitting at work and would rather waters not brake whilst sitting at my desk! )

Babies can come early and with the symptoms you have mentioned I would call the labour ward and let them know whats happening. Let us know how it goes.

definatly phone the labour ward, as you may need to have something to mature the babies lungs

Let us know how you get on!

Will be thinking of you.

It might be something very boring like a tummy upset or a bladder infection - get a midwife to check you out and then you'll know where you are.

my waters broke at 31 weeks and i had no signs anything was amiss up until then, wee one arrived at 32 weeks and i knew he was coming. Luckily i was able to have the steriods.

Phone labour ward and they will check you out. Best to be on the safe side.
