Area of hemorrhage in uterus

Hey! I’m 8 weeks and 3 days pregnant currently. A few weeks ago I started to spot brown discharge/blood. We can an ultrasound and baby was fine and measuring on track and no cause for spotting was found. The spotting lasted for about 5 days but was very light (only when I wiped a few times a day). It then stopped completely for a bit and then on Thursday morning I had a slightly heavy bleed, still pretty light but this time blood was pink and once it went red as well. I panicked and called EPU who couldn’t get me in until this Monday so yesterday we had a private scan at window to the womb which showed our baby is still measuring on track and looks absolutely fine with a strong heartbeat etc. This time however they did found an ‘area of hemorrhage in my uterus’ which they said was smallish (measure 16mm - 7mm which didn’t seem small considering baby is only 17.5mm). She didn’t seem worried at all and said it wouldn’t affect the baby because it was positioned close to my cervix and not over the sac or anything. She said it should just go it’s own and don't worry I was pretty relieved to find a cause for the bleeding if I’m honest! Of course I then came home and googled and I’ve found that a lot of people have been put on bed rest etc? She didn’t tell me anything like that? I’ve still got my scan/appointment with EPU on Monday which they have told me to keep so it’s on my NHS records etc.

anyone else has a ‘small’ bleed I’m uterus and not been put on bed rest etc? I suppose I should be happy that the private nurses were not concerned but you all know how crazy early pregnancy is 🙈

I had a private scan at 9+1 and was told the same. Area of blood that was likely to have been from implantation. I was told it was common and not to worry too much. Went back at 12+2 and it had cleared. Hope that offers reassurance.

Yes I'm sure they know everything is absolutely fine.. hard not to worry I'm fine but they've just checked and the baby is happy and healthy.. I would rest anyway much as you can
