I'm 38 weeks and entirely unable to sleep. I'm sleeping max 4 hours a night and I have a 3 year old and really not able to look after him. I have HG (take lots of medication for this which keeps me from being sick everything) and it is further triggered by tiredness so feeling absolutely awful. I don't know what I'm asking for here other than solidarity and hearing from others that it's OK my son is doing nothing but lego and TV for a couple of weeks. If I nap in the day, I can't sleep even more. This is pure torture. ANY ADVICE WELCOME. And no, I don't have anyone who can help or give me some respite.

Sorry you're going through this! If you do nap, do it before 2pm and don't nap for longer than 30 mins, set an alarm.
In a few days you could start antenatal expressing to help bring along labour next week if you wanted

They offered to induce me a week early for to the HG and being so miz with that but we move house next week so I don't think i can progress labour in any way. Obviously if it happens it happens. I feel absolutely crackers with the tiredness but yes, I agree on the short naps before 2pm or else!
