Are these safe during pregnancy? I’ve been gifted some and they have some oils in there. Not sure if it’s enough to have an impact or it would be safe? Anyone used lush bath bombs during pregnancy? 🤔

Probably safe but I personally wouldnt. The bright colours and strongs scents are obtained through the use of a lot of chemicals. Cant think theyd be good to anyone.

The only one i think to avoid is the sex bomb bath bomb as it contains clary sage - you can use this after 37 weeks to help bring on labour

As above as long as there’s no clary sage they are absolutely fine. I’ve used them in all 3 of my pregnancies.

I found the list of ingredients card in there and some of the oils aren’t recommended in pregnancy according to Google 🤔 quite surprised by it. Wonder if it’s ok due to the amounts in there? Think I’ll give them to my son to use to be on the safe side 😳

It’s probably fine, but I wouldn’t, personally. Why don’t you save them for a treat after baby is born?

@snoopy18 oh wow well done on the research

I think your main risk would be thrush or a vaginal infection - way more common in pregnancy

snoopy18 · 18/08/2023 09:34

Yeah very true I did have thrush issues with first - was bloody awful trying to wedge a pessary in when you’re already uncomfy! 😂 I’m going to leave it & son can use them 🥰
