7dp5dt pregnancy test

Hi,

Today I am 7dp5dt. I tested at 4dp5dt to ensure the HCG shot had gone. Tested yesterday evening again with a Clearblue early test - BFN after a couple of minutes so left the test on the side. About an hour later I came back to it and BFP. Absolutely elated until I started to read about evap lines. Tested this morning with FMU and there is the faintest line - appeared within minutes and its still there now. Test again tonight with an asda own brand pink dye and it's negative. It's stressing me out so much. Anybody else in a similar situation or experienced this? I can't get hold of a FRER apart from Amazon and don't want hubby to see my buy them as we bought the CB together and don't want to upset him that I've used them! Are the boots early detectors good? Looking for a pink one so I don't get the evap issues xxx

Depends a lot on sensitivity of the tests. What's the boots sensitivity? Good luck. Do you have any pics of the tests?

Boots early ones are the best ones atm,
First response aren't reliable due to giving false positives, hence hard to get and stopped selling.

Test in mornings only being this early, your urine will be diluted later on in the day.

Gutted! My Boots one was negative this evening.

These photos are my CB tests. The first is 6dp5dt but the line came after ten mins so I think evap.

The second is 7dp5dt and the line came up within 1-2 mins.

Retested with Boots this pm and completely white.

When was the second CB?

I would just test on a morning being this early. Do you have a test for tomorrow am?

Emsb18 · 15/08/2023 21:00

The second was done this morning with FMU.

I don't have a test for tomorrow which is probably a blessing but have caved and told my hubby and I've ordered some more!! Xx

It's so frustrating. Also, for some people it's not 1st thing in the morning that shows the most but 2nd!

There's is definitely smt there though. Good luck!!

Thank you everyone - I've done an Asda test this morning and completely negative. I'm still praying that we will get the positive but at 8dp5dt I know we should have got a positive by now and not sure if I can trust the clearblue now x

I'm really sorry but the clearblue ones look like evaps to me :( these tests are so bad for them - they should not be allowed to be sold. I would have thought you would be getting at least a faint positive by now on other tests.

Emsb18 · 16/08/2023 07:35

That's my fear - the 1st one I think must be as the line appeared after ten minutes, but on the 2nd test the line definitely appeared within 1-2 mins. Could that still be an evap?
I'm devastated x

Yeah unfortunately I've seen this tons before. They're just so unreliable. I would test again tomorrow. I've heard that the boots tests are the next best thing to FRERs. When is your OTD? There might still be some hope. Saying that mine was 9dpt and I had a blazing positive then. I'm honestly keeping everything crossed for you. I know a negative is so much harder to deal with after going through the stress of IVF and everything that comes with it 😥

Emsb18 · 16/08/2023 08:02

Thank you- honestly clinging onto any tiny bit of hope but then also spent the whole morning in floods of tears.

OTD is Friday. I've got FRERs arriving today. Will use Thurs and Fri and see.

Just the worst feeling ever xxx

@Emsb18 I'm so sorry you've had such a bad experience with these tests, evaps are incredibly cruel. If you're getting negatives with other sensitive tests at this stage it probably doesn't look very promising but I'm crossing my fingers for that glimmer of hope.
