Anyone changed name during pregnancy?

I’m just wondering how the admin works for this. I’m due end of Jan, I’ll probably tell my employer after my 20 week scan (mid September) when I get my MAT B1 form, but I’m getting married in early November… how will the admin work on this. I don’t know how far in advance stat may pay etc has to be sorted, not to mention my hospital records and my bank account will all be in my old name.

I changed name during pregnancy, after I'd got my MATB1.

I notified my GP, my work payroll Dept, tax office, pension, hospital etc and had no problems. I imagine that you pay, net pay etc is linked to your NI number anyway.

Thanks, was most of that done through work? (not hospital obvs)
