4 weeks and high heart rate and white cell count

I'm 5 weeks pregnant, but for about a week I've had extreme heart palpitations and high blood pressure
Heart rate was 149 this morning (the palpitations woke me up)
Ive been to the GP today and had ECG heart rate was high but regular
Blood test came back with high white blood cells
I've never felt so un well in my life, I feel agitated I can't keep my legs still, my legs and hips are hurting, I keep being sick which I don't think is pregnancy related as I'm only just 4 weeks and the vomiting comes when my heart rate rises
GP thinks some kind of infection but doesn't know what
I'm getting kind of scared 😢 when my heart rate goes crazy I feel like I'm going to die 😞 I have a 2 year old with me

Sounds scary. Do you live with another adult who can look after your child whilst you Go to A&E for a 2nd opinion?

If you don't live with another adult I'd suggest you inform a close friend/family / neighbour. Tell them to check up on you once a day and if they don't hear a response after a certain amount of time; they should come and knock for you (or even put a spare key somewhere outside) in case you're unconscious.

@Monday55 how are u feeling today? Iv heard increased heart rate is associated with pregnancy due to ur heart wrking harder to increase blood flow but not that high, im currently sitting in the 90s normally 60s but I had ecg the other week to rule anything out when it spiked at 120 but all was fine, hope ur ok and have some answers n reassurance this morning xx

Spent the night in a&e, protein and ketones in urine not really been given a reason for that, but I have a scan tomorrow just to check things over as I've also got really bad back pain now😞
