Hi,

I'm 27 weeks and last week I fainted. I went into hospital the doctor said it's probably due to the heat/dehydration/anemia.

I had an iron infusion the day before that and I have another one booked this week.

They checked for protein in my urine and they said they did see some but they sent it for further testing and if there was anything wrong they'd get in touch over the weekend.

Since the fainting episode I feel really weak, lightheaded and my tummy and pelvic area aches too. I also feel like I'm urinating alot and just feel really off. I've been resting most of the time and eating well otherwise.

Any ideas what could be wrong? I'm booked for a glucose test on Wed (routine as I'm south Asian). I am anaemic and hence the iron infusions but could they be making me feel this terrible (HB was 88 last week).

Thanks!

Sounds like you might have a UTI?

Call triage and explain and ask to go in and be checked over and if the urine test is back yet.

Hi @JoyApple
During my pregnancy i had alot of dizziness, the room would literally spin and i hadn't even got out of bed. I'd be washing dishes and would have to hold onto the sink because i was going to fall. I was in a really bad way. My blood tests were always good.
The only thing that literally saved me was juicing raw peeled beetroot and carrot juice, drank it first thing in the morning. If you can, give it a try, hope you feel better xx

Thank you everyone! I rang them and urine test is clear.

@Summer2424 I'll try and give that a try. Any other tips from others most welcome
