They saw a heartbeat so all good

Am 11 weeks tomorrow and feeling nervous about my forthcoming scan...anyway....

Could twins have been missed at this 6 week scan and be found at the 12 week scan or is that highly unlikely?

Just wondering really.................

have twins ever been missed and then foud later is what I am sort of asking

it is possible to miss twins, but it is unlikely. If I were you, I would expect to see just one baby on your next scan -it would be surprising if they suddenly saw two!

good luck

at a six week scan they do look at the whome of the womb, but I suppose it is possible for a twin to be hiding behind the other twin.

It's probably theoretically possible but unlikely. Why do you ask? Do you have twins in the family?

Good luck for the next scan anyway and it is normal to feel nervous!
