when do u start perinal massage?

probably months away for me as i'm 18 weeks.
just wondered when u should start it really.

By the time your supposed to do it you can't bend and reach down there anymore!
I personally would never ever ask DH to do it. Some happily oblige

If you really want to know: guidelines usually say 4/6 weeks before delivery.

I read that you start at around 34 weeks... I am almost 38 weeks now and have only managed a couple of feeble attempts at it and now I can't even see my belly button since bump is so low so can't imagine how I could reach myself without being a complete contortionist... It is really not very pleasant but well worth a try if you can manage it...
