Ovulation testing after MC with clear blue.

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone has been in the same situation ..
I had a MC two weeks ago, we wanted to start trying again straight away so I started tracking my ovulation again.
I am using the clear blue digital ovulation tests. I had one day of showing an empty circle, I then went onto showing the flashing smiley face but I have been getting this result for 9 days now. I was expecting it to have been a solid smile by now?
I was just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?
I am going to keep going with it for now as I know after a MC you are more fertile so I am hoping it's just my body readjusting with everything.

Did you have a negative pregnancy test before you starting tracking ovulation? It can take a while for hormones to build up correctly after a miscarriage - I'm on to day 6 of flashing smiley from the day after I got a negative pregnancy test now (2.5 weeks post miscarriage). Keep tracking and testing and fingers crossed the static will appear soon x

@moosey89 yeah I had a negative and had my bloods taken to check my HCG levels also. It's maybe just taken it's time. It's just so frustrating 😓 thank you xx

I think it can just take longer to settle down. Hope it sorts itself out quickly for you xx

Hello - I experienced the same after my MC with these tests - the flashing face of bloody doom !!! But keep testing and I think day 10 or so it went static and I did end up falling again and now almost 30 weeks🥰

@LMM91x Aw that's amazing! Congratulations! ❤️ As you say the flashing face of doom 🤦🏼‍♀️ I will keep going with it, definitely.
It's good to hear some positivity and hear that people have been in the same boat.

If you don't mind me asking, did it take you long to fall pregnant again? (I know everyone is different) x

sorry I wasn't clear I literally fell pregnant straight away - so my mc started on a weds - had 'completed' by the sunday - scan weds showed all had gone - tested negative hcg wise maybe a week or so after that, ovulated literally 2 weeks later on the dot and then 2 weeks later had BFP. It was an insane time to be honest but I know how it feels to just want so badly to be pregnant again❤️ it will happen xxxxxxxx

Aw that's so amazing! I started bleeding on the Saturday, I'm sure I MC on the Sunday. I was still testing positive on the Monday but the line was fainter. Had a scan on the Tuesday and they couldn't see a sac so I must have already passed it 💔 got my bloods taken to check my HCG levels on the Tuesday also, done a pregnancy test on the Tuesday night which was more or less negative and then the Thursday I got more bloods taken to compare my levels and that's when the MC was definitely confirmed. I didn't take another test after that as I couldn't bring myself to take it and see a negative after the positives 😓 the blood tests and the test on the Tuesday night was enough for me.
