When you are pregnant your cervix is closed so I'd expect the sperm to just come back out. Are you worried about something in particular?

gothshot · 07/08/2023 21:23

I'm so confused

LolaBumble · 07/08/2023 21:24

If you’re worried about getting pregnant again I think that’s basically impossible in that situation xx

Cloudsandrainnotsunandsand · 07/08/2023 21:24

Tactfully please do some studying on the art of conception and make some good contraception choices op.
Hopefully you won't find yourself in the same situation in the future..

parietal · 07/08/2023 21:25

are you worried about whether you could get pregnant again from the most recent unprotected sex?

if you were pregnant, had sex, then had an abortion 3 days later, and have had no sex since then you are not pregnant now.

RiderofRohan · 07/08/2023 21:25

When you are pregnant you do not ovulate.
Please speak to your GP about long term contraception.

Elizadoloads · 07/08/2023 21:26

I'm confused by what you mean.
You were 7 weeks pregnant and had unprotected sex. 3 days after the unprotected sex you had an abortion and you were then bleeding for 2 weeks. You want to know if the sperm from the unprotected sex before your abortion can have got you pregnant. Is that correct?

If so then no you won't be pregnant.
You should still have a std test and also discuss birth control.

CherrySocks · 07/08/2023 21:31

Sperm only live for up to 5 days inside a woman's body. The abortion and the bleeding will have removed the sperm.

Why are you having unprotected sex if you do not want to get pregnant? Please get help about contraception.

I'm confused!

How old are you?

AlltheFs · 08/08/2023 14:52

Well you can tell it is the school holidays.

Be careful of toilet seats OP

TeaKitten · 08/08/2023 14:52

The abortion would obviously remove any sperm too.

Moonberri · 08/08/2023 14:53

You sound very young and that you don't understand how reproduction works. I genuinely think perhaps you should Google some explanations of how conception happens.

I don't know what you mean by sperm going in and out the same way? Sperm will always swim to try to fertilise an egg but if you were pregnant you would not have an egg to fertilise.

Please stop having unprotected sex if you don't want to get pregnant. Get some STI tests. And learn how conception works.

Housenoob · 08/08/2023 14:54

It doesn't matter what happens to the sperm, if you're already pregnant you don't release an egg so there's nothing to fertilise.

TallulahBetty · 08/08/2023 14:55

I am nearly 40, and the sex ed we had was enough to ensure I knew how to prevent pregnancy. I can only imagine it has improved since then. Respectfully, please read up on this topic and make sure you have decent contraception in place.

Busubaba · 08/08/2023 14:56

You 'did an abortion'?

I have no words.

NatGee · 08/08/2023 14:57

Its unlikely youd be pregnant from the unprotected sex you had. Once you are pregnant your ovaries do not produce eggs. even after the abortion itll take some time for your body to get back to normal, although do bear in mind that timeframes vary greatly from woman to woman.
If you can get some long term contraception that'd be ideal and put your mind at ease

Wishitsnows · 08/08/2023 14:58

Thankfully you are not pregnant!

justanothernamechangemonday · 08/08/2023 14:58

What is even happening here

Giraffe1123 · 08/08/2023 15:01

I think this someone either very young or vulnerable. Please get help from your GP or family/friends not the internet. And maybe don't have sex for a while until you understand the implications and responsibility involved.
