HCG levels

Hey, i’m looking for similar storys or experiences! Been driving myself crazy finding threads on here. I have 2 beautiful girls (1 miscarriage and 1 ectopic in between them)

I had bloods done to measure HCG and it came back as 215, 48hours later it’s 402.. so not a complete double but rising. I did have a scan same day bloods were taken at first and they couldn’t see anything just yet. Anyone has similar experiences? Worried about another ectopic but levels are rising just not completely..

How far along are you?
Because those numbers sound fine of you are just 4 weeks, less so if 5.
As for a scan, again, before 6 weeks you wont really see much of anything, much less if youre closer to 4 weeks than 6!

Hey. So yes i am 5 weeks (not sure of exactly how far) but definately in the 5 week mark. The sonographer didn’t say she was worried as they fall within normal range but just because they didn’t exactly double she wants another scan, so fingers crossed…

Levels should double ever 48-72 hours not 48. Your numbers sound good. Fingers crossed for you xx

You might have ovulated late, and so the levels are a bit off. Are you repeating the bloods again? Cause that would be a good gauge as well.

possibly! They haven’t mentioned anything about bloods but the scan is on thursday so guess they’ll know more then anyway!

I am surprised they are scanning that early - you are unlikely to see much Thursday either .
I think the rise is find and perhaps you are between 4/5 weeks x

Hi @Crmnard do you have any update? I’ve a previous ectopic and miscarriages.. I’ve just found out im pregnant a week a go, my first hcg was 33 and today 59 (48 hours later) only a 90% rise, I have more bloods on Wednesday xxx
