Hello

i had hyperemesis in my first pregnancy and was admitted to hospital 3 times and was pretty much bed bound until 16 weeks.

3 years later I am 11 weeks pregnant with my second and it’s SO different. I’ve had some fatigue, nausea and aching boobs but NOTHING like my first pregnancy. For the past week I’ve been feeling… normal.

rather than being grateful and enjoying my pregnancy, I am of course an absolute bag of anxiety that this is a bad sign and something is going wrong. We even had a 7 weeks scan (because of multiple miscarriages) that showed a heartbeat and good measurements etc, but I can’t stop worrying.

any good news stories out there about different symptoms on different pregnancies please?? Just over a week to wait for my 12 weeks scan - help me stop myself from booking a private scan before then!!

I'm feeling the same worry as you! Although I'm much earlier on- only 4 weeks. I had a fair few symptoms over the TWW, but they seem to have eased off, I'm feeling really energetic, and much less nauseaus. Took another test this morning as was anxious but the line is much darker so know it's still fine. Just worrying when I felt really odd and dizzy before but now I feel absolutely symptomless!

I posted similar in the Feb thread today!

Also feeling totally normal the last week or two, tiredness is still killing me but otherwise I'm good.

Placenta takes over, heading into second trimester everything does ease off.

I'm still anxious don't get me wrong but fingers crossed!
