Nipple stimulation

Ftm, 40 weeks, get this baby out of me 😫 I’m going to try nipple stimulation, I might sound silly but how do I do it??? Do I both nipples at once, for how long? Can I wet them up? What do I do? Also has it worked for anyone here?

Is that not just the same as colostrum harvesting? You could follow a video on YouTube for it but I think the odds of it putting you into labour are really quite small and things like long walks are more likely

Hi @indubaby - I feel your pain, I'm 38 weeks and miserable. Counting the hours.

I don't actually want to go into labour yet as I'm booked in for a c-section on Thursday, but when I discussed harvesting colostrum with my midwife, she said not to do this before 38 weeks as it can bring on labour. So, sounds like it's worth a try! Good luck
